Contact lenses

Not for everyone, and sometimes the right choice

Most of our patients use glasses and devices. For some people a contact lens suits the eye or the work better. Dr. Wardlaw tells you honestly if it is worth a try.

  1. 01

    Step 1: The conversation

We start with what you want the lens to do, and whether you can handle it every day. A relative who helps is welcome.

  2. 02

    Step 2: The fitting

A fitting visit measures the eye and tries a trial lens on it. You learn to put it in and take it out.

  3. 03

    Step 3: Follow-up

We check how the lens sits and how your eye is doing, and change it if it does not work.

Results vary. Some people do well with contact lenses and some do not.

Your contact lens prescription is yours

Your prescription is yours. We give you a copy after your exam and fitting, and you can fill it anywhere.

When the fitting is finished we give you a copy of the contact lens prescription. If a seller calls to check it, we confirm it.
