Before you book
What should I do in an eye emergency?
Call us now, or go to the nearest emergency room, for sudden vision loss, a curtain over your vision, a sudden shower of floaters, an eye injury or a chemical splash. In a life-threatening emergency, call 911.
May a relative come with me?
Yes, and we hope so. A relative can sit in the exam room, ask questions and hear the plan. If someone else books for you, we still talk to you first.
Will my insurance pay for it?
Often part of it does. A vision plan or medical insurance may pay for the exam. Devices are often not covered. How fees work explains each part, and we check your benefits before you come.
